"Bella Vista" excursion

In this excursion you can admire the most amazing Bella Vista. An exquisite spot for photographs! One of the most exquite spots in the island.

A full day trip by coach to one of the most popular places in Corfu. The trip starts with a stop at the distillery well known for the islands local Kumquat liqueurs and wines, which you will be able to sample. A visit to the 13 th Century working monastery.

With there is a 3 hr stop at Paleokastritsa for lunch, swimming, sun- bathing or visit the caves by taxi boat. On the way admire the breathtaking scenery high above Paleo at Bella Vista, where we stay for half an hour for refreshments.

Lastly we stop at Makrades where you can purchase local wines, herbs, honey and olive oil at low prices.

 Monastery of the Blessed Virgin & Angelokastro

In Paleokastritsa you will visit the 13 th century, byzantine monastery at the very top of the hill.

The monastery offers a unique view to the emerald Ionian sea , down below.

You will also have the opportunity to admire a few very ancient, byzantine icons and get an idea of the monks' peaceful life.

Don't forget to through your lucky coin into the monastery's fontain, praying for a secret wish to come true!

Angelokastro can be found on the headland on the outskirts of Krini, one of the villages to the north of Paleokastritsa.

It is situated on a seemingly inaccessible cliff top near the town of Krini on the northwest shore of Corfu.
